Congratulations to all of our students, staff, family and community members for reaching our goal of $1,314.00 and surpassing it to raise over $3,983.00 for the Terry Fox Foundation!  We were hoping for 100% participation in our “Toonie for Terry” drive and the A.M.E.S dragons exceeded our expections.  Many students used the online program or the pledge forms to help us reach and surpass our school goal.  Now, as a very special reward to all of you,  the following events will happen at our Terry Fox Assembly on Friday, November 1st.

Mr. Alexander, all 6 foot 6 of him, will be duct taped to our gym wall – Good luck, students!

Mrs. Sickle and Mariya Z. will have their cut for cancer – will you be the one to make the cut!

Mrs. Parsons, Mr. Hussein, Mr. Smith, Mrs. Henke will bravely take a pie in the face courtesy of our many high fund raising students – watch out, Mr. H!

There were many students who received prizes for their fundraising efforts and 3 classes have won movie and popcorn parties for the creation of incredible Terry Fox T-shirt banners, slogans and chants. Congratulations to Mrs. Parson’s “Despicable 3’s”, Mrs. Fitzpatrick’s “Fabulous 4/5’s” and Mr. Borczon’s “Brave 7’s!” Enjoy!
